THE IRON INDUSTRY.
DEVELOPMENT AT PAKAPARA. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christehurch, Last Night. It is announced that a working arrangement has been arrived at between a British Company and the Parapara Iron Ore Company, and that as soon as the formalities have been completed electric furnaces will be shipped out from England with a view to establishing a self-contained iron and steel industry in New Zealand.
