Loan and Mercantile Agency have , received the following cablegram from their London house, under date .March 10, 1920: — We nuote present spot values for the following descriptions of tallow: Fine mutton, £5 Ds per cwt.; good beef, £5 7s per cwt: mixed, £4 17a 6d, Nominal prices. No sales. LONDON METAL MARKET. Wellington, Lust Ni£ht._ The Department of Industries and CAirtoneree has received a cablegram, dated the 12th inst., from the Australian -Metal Exchange reporting London Metal .Exchange (middle) quotations as follows: Copper.—Standard spot £IOB 7s Gd per ton. three months, £lll 123 (id; electrolytic copper, £115; best selected copper, £l2O. Le»ad.—Soft foreign spot, £49 ss, ditto forward £sl 15s. Shelter.— Spot £55, forward £SB. Tin.—Standard spot £387 IBs, forward £392 15s Silver.—Standard 5s ft%d per ounce; sliver, fine 6s 3 7-16 d per ounce. LAND SALE. The Kopane aud Cheltenham properties of Mr. Lachitin T. McLean's have been cut into twenty-eight farme, which are being sold at Feildiug on the 23rd inst. The ICopane poTtion, over 9000 acres, close to Rougotea, Is considered to be some of the richest dairying land In the Dominion. There are twentysix sections ranging from 24 acres to 48 acres, and all have splendid road access. In regard to the Cheltenham farms, these eonslit of heavy flat and undulating dairying and fattening land, the areas being 238 acres and 270 acres.
