Tillyard, D.Sc., M.A., the newly-appointed biologist to the Cawthron Institute, to ft Wellington Times representative. 'I have met with the greatest kindness here and bad a most enjoyable visit. As to the general outlook for your Dominion, I have only lieen able to discover one fault, if 1 may say so, and that is that there is danger of too much inflation of land values, especially with regard to farm lands; and this may cause some financial depression and trouble later on. But, apart from that, the orilook for New Zealand is dietinctly promising and encouraging, and I am locking forward very much to becoming a citizen of New Zealand. Yon really have a wonderful country here, and the kindness and hospitality showered upon me everywhere lias been beyond my most sanguine expectations, especially the wonderful appreciation of my Icelures*. In Christchureb the place was crowded out, and the people could not get in; and at Nelson 1 had an audience of 3jo.
