N.Z. L. AND M. REPORT. At Opunake, on Monday, there was a fair yarding, especially of young cattle. We quote: Store cows £5 6s to £9 103, dairy heifers £» 10s to £l2, 18-raonth heifers H.W.B. £6 lis, weaner heifers £2 15s, woaner steera 32s Gd.

On Tuesday, at Manaia. we had a small yarding. Quotations: Store cows £7 Is to £9 ss, fm. ewes 16s, store plgß £3 ss. At Palmer Road, on Friday, we held our weaner fair when there was a full yarding which sold Teadily. Competition was keen Wo quote: Tat cows £l2 12s Gd. fat and forward cows £9 to £ll 12s Qd, store cows £5 to £8 15s, bulls £0 2s Cd to £ll 12s 6d, Jersey woaner heifers £7, .Torsey cross weaner heifers £3 15s, weaner heifers £2 to £4 ,os, weaner steers £1 2s to £2 10s, males 20s. On the same day at Waverley, we offered a fair yarding, stock selling at late rates. BRITISH MARKETS. * London, March It. In the Bradford tops market there is more inquiry for medium crossbreds, and prices are hardening; 64's quality is quotecr at 153 d, 06's at 03d, M's at 42d.
