Received March 11, 7.30 p.m. London, March 10Mr. Lloyd George Ims consented to re; ceive a deputation representative ot the cotton trade in regard to Government assistance for the development of cotton growing throughout the Empire. The deputation will plead for a. larger subsidy than £110,000,000 annually'for five years, which the Government olfered.
The Cotton Control Board is allocating surplus funds of .€1,000,000 for the relief of war hardships among operatives, and to finance trade research, work. —Imperial Service.
