The Evening Standard says the Supreme Council's decisions regarding economic questions recommend that greatly increased supplies of raw material shall be sent to Germany. The reconstittition of German industries affects the whole of Europe, and it is the duty of the Allies to help in tliis. All the Allies should co-operate In restoring Belgium and the north of trance and economic, equilibrium cannot be re-established without putting Germany and France in something like a pre-war condition to pursue their industries. T!>e Council recommends the use of barter in countries whoi.e currency is chaotic-, also concerted action to stabilise exchanges through loans and deno.-'.(,.( n:i paper enrrenev, The Supremo Council is preparing a manifesto regarding the economic conditions of Europe dealing with the general rise in prices, the necessity to restore Germany to economic prosperity; war indemnities, and international peace concord, including peace with the Bolsheviks. II is uncertain when the manifesto will be made public.
