(From Our Own Correspondent). A sharp turn approaching a bridge' is always a danger for motor traffic. The latter part of last week Mr. Frank Lawson collided with two motor cyclists on the Maketawa bridge. Neither party saw one another until they met on the bridge. ' Sonic of the surrounding districts are having memorial tablets placed in the schools on public halls to those who! served King and country in the late war I wo good specimens are at present on view in Messrs Hayles' and Spnrdle's ■ shop.
