Four rinks played on the Remuera green, and four on the Auckland green. The weather was fine, though dull, sad, ' after a great game, Taranaki won by one point, the totals being i—Tanwiaia }«2, South Auckland 181. ' The rinks skipped by Jury, Lambie, Johnston and Smart played on tie, Auckland green, and were bettten by 9< points to 74, However, the TarttWld ;■, rinks at Remuem, which were skipped by Sole, Lobb, Price and Abbott, mad* Up the deficiency, winning by 88 JM&s# to 67.
