INCREASES DEMANDED. By Telegraph.— Press Association. Wellington, March C. Bequests have been received from the Auckland, Christchurch, and Dunedin police for increased pay. Christchurch asks for 4s per day increase, the others for 6s. The Wellington police, have not so far joined in. One day's holiday weekly is also asked for. In April last year the pay of constables was raised from 9s to 12s daily, but this is not considered sufficient.
