STRIKE COLLAPSES
THE FRENCH RAILWAYS. TERMS OF THE ■SETTLEMENT. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyrlglt. Received March 6, 3.40 pm • Paris, March 2. The strike collapsed, owing to lack of public support. The settlement provides that there shall be no victimisation; trade union rights are to be respected, and the new scale of wages will operate forthwith.
