DEARER AND STRICTLY CASH, DECISION OP LOCAL BAKERS. Owing to the rise in the price of flour, also to the new terras imposed by the millers providing for cash being paid within seven days (instead of an average credit of six weeks as heretofore), the master bakers of New Plymouth have been compelled to raise the price of bread, and, to save the peedless work and expense of keeping a lot of small accounts on their books, have deeded, as from to-day, that bread will be sold only for cash on delivery. As this decision has involved giving the ■ carters strict injunctions not to deliver bread without payment for-sum, master bakers hope the customers will (all in with the arrangement and say on di* * livery, «~w
