SUCCESS OF NEW LOAN. By Telegraph.—Pr.ss Assn.—CopvrlElit. London, March 1. Mr. Austen Chamberlain (Chancellor of the Exchequer) stated that the 03/,0 3 /, per cent Exchequer bond issue totalled WO millions, including (10 millions cash. The result was most satisfactory, exceeding- expectations. A total of 10S millions of Exchequer bonds mature in 1920. London, March 4. The Morning Post announces that t«e cash subscriptions to ~>\ per cent, flxeheqner bonds totalled £53,550.000, exceeding the most sanguine estimates.This does not include subscriptions througj, the banks and post offices.
