CLIFTON COUNTY SUPPORTS FARMERS. Copies of resolutions passed at a rcpresonttive meeting held in Feilding regarding the meat requisition were before the Clifton Council at its meeting yesterday. The resolutions jailed o'n the Government to impress on the. British Govern* ment the serious* position which would arise with the lifting of the meat requisition; the necessity of clearing the meat; to continue the purchase until the meat was cleared; and also to announce as early as* possible its intention as to how they would meet the position that would arise in June next. Another resolution urges the advisability of sending to England the Commission set up for the purpose of assisting the Government to solve the question of the disposal of the meat. The Council resolved to endorse both resolutions. ;
