INFLUENZA.
CASES AT HAWERA. The number of notifications of influenza in Hawera between February 1 and March 3 totalled 110, including one peumonio case. There are indications, states the borough inspector, that severe cases are slightly on the incrwtse, and this is attributed to the prevalence of the idea that the epidemic is so mild that attacks can be regarded with in- , difference.
