THE NORTHERN TERRITORY. By Telegraph.—rrras Asm.- Copyrleht. Melbourne, March -1. At the .Northern Territory inquiry Mr. Justice Ewing said that he was satisfied there was no collusion between Vestey's and Dr. Gilruth, and no evidence of improper conduct against Mr. H. E. Carey and Justice Evans.
VICTORIAN POLITICS. Melbourne, March 4. lij the House of Representatives Mr. M'Williams, leader of the Country Party, gave notice of his intention to move that the amount of supply be reduced by one half. Mr. Tudor moved a vote of censure on the Government for failure to deal with profiteering, injudicious expenditure, and insufficient control of shipping, wheat and other products. The development of a serious crisis depends on whether the Ministry accepts Mr. M'Williams' amendment. If it decides to fight the issue it will probably be defeated, as Labor will support the Country Party.—Aus.-N Z Cable Assn.
