There was no connection "whatever between the sources of Vestvs' supplies and the interests which constitute the Affieriean Beef Trust. Neither was there any 'reference to any connection Ulth the American Beef Trust in the report of Vestys' operations in the Argentine, Russia, China, Australia, New Zealand, - Venezuela, Brazil, Paraguay, Madagascar, France, Spain, and Portugal. Witness added that it was suggested to hiih that when Dr. Gilruth concluded his tetto of administration Dr. Gilruth should ict as Vestys' buying and selling •geßt lit Melbourne, but witness did not consider the position would suit Dr. Gilruth. —Aus.-N.Z.
