YESTERDAY'S RESULTS* By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dunedin, Last Night. Band contest results are:— Brass Trombone. —J, JJixou (Kaikorai) 1, 1). Holdaway (Tenth Mounted Band, Blenheim) 2. Seven competitors, B Fiat Brass .Solo.—C. J. Gallop (the only competitor) was placet! first. Flugel Horn 'Solo.—\V. G_ Taylor (2nd South Canterbury Regiment) 1, TMcLean (St. lvilda) 2. Seven competitors. 'Die B grade test selection was taken to-night, eight bands competing as follows: Winton Municipal, Wellington Waterside Workers, Ninth Hawke's Hay Regiment, Christehureh Tramways, First Canterbury Regiment, C.E.M.S. Christchurch, Dannevirke Municipal, Auckland' City_ The judge's comments and awards of points were sealed and placed in a box. They will be ope'ied tonight and the points added to those awarded for their own choice selection.
