Paver, who is flying to Australia, spent four days overhauling his machine and then resumed his journey. He reached Ramleh on Thursday and intends to traverse the. desert to Baghdad over a new route. This is a daring attempt to break new ground- He takes extra petrol for the last stages of '02(1 miles, as there are no landing places and the normal supply will suffice for only GOO miles.—Times Service.
