SHIPMENT THIS WEEK, SEASON'S RETURNS TO DAT£. The sixth shipment of cheese to be exported from New Plymouth this season is now being loaded on the Kittawa, which will tranship the cheese to the Port Caroline. The shipment will comprise 12,000 crates, and will bring the total shipment! of cheese for this season to 75,450, as follows; Orates. Sept. 25, by Corinthic 3,800 Nov. 18, 1910, by Westmoreland 10,000 Nov. 2i», Mill), by lonic 14,001) Dec. 31, 1910, by Mahana 27,050 Feb. 13, 1920, by Waimana .... 8,000 March, 1020, by Port Caroline' 12,000 ■, Total 75,450 A further shipment of 12,000 crates by the Northumberland, and 10,000 crates by the Mamari, will be taken this month. Space for 28,500 boxes of butter has been, allotted on the Suffolk, which sails this month. This will be only the second shipment of butter this season, and will bring the total exported up to the present to 4U,500 boxes. The cheese now in store consists of} 44,800 crates, and the butter 41,900 boles, At about this time last year the works held 90,000 crates of cheese —over twice as much as at present—but the buttet was less, being 10,900 boxes.
