INCREASES FOR LAST MONTH. The customs returns for the port of New Plymouth for the month of February, were supplied last night by. Mr. Kyre, the Collector of Customs. * The figures show increase.; on the returns for I'Vhnmry last year, but they are not as high as the figures for January of this year. The details are: 1020 1910. '£ s. d. £ 6. d. Net Customs .. 0231 4 5 f>222 1!) 10 Net beer duty 237 21! 200 (i 8 Thi; brings the total customs duty collected at. New Plymouth for the two months of this year to £14.102 0s lid, which shows an increase of C4S2! Ills 5d over the corresponding period of last year. The duty collected on beer for the same period totals ;C4OS 2s Id, an increase of .£OS 15s .'id over 1010.
