PURSUANT to Section 37, "Rating Act 1908," public notice is hereby given that a demand signed by the requisite number of ratepayers has been delivered to me requesting that a proposal to adopt the system of rating on the basis of the unimproved value bfe submitted to the ratepayers' vote. VTOTICE is hereby given that a section in Tangitu and two sections in Totoro S.D., comprising 596 acres, will bo open for selection by Discharged Soldiers only on Renewable Lease Tenure at the Lands and Survey Office, New Plymouth, up to 4 p.m. on Monday, 22nd March, 11120. Applicants must appear before the Land Board for examination at New Plymouth on Wednesday, 24th March, 1020, at 10 a.m., but if any applicant so desires, he may be examined by the Land Board of any other District. The ballot will be held at New Plymouth, at the conclusion of the examination of applicants. Full particulars and plans may be obtained at this ofiice and plans seen at the principal Post Offices in the District.
