GREAT DECREASE IN-STOCK. By Telegraph.—Press Asin.—Copyrlfht. Sydney, Feb. 2G. The stock returns for 1010 show a decrease of 309.578 cattle and 7,028,852 sheep in the State, compared with 191 S. The decrease is attributed to the drought. . AUSTRALIAN POLITICS. Melbourne, Feb. 2G. At the pre-sessional meeting of Nationalists, Mr. Hughe3 indicated the imposition of fresh taxation. A meeting of the Labor Party re-elected Mr. Tudor leader. The Country Party elected Mr. M'Williams leader.
