In the doubles Lowe and Beamish defeated Peach and St. John 6—l), 9—7, -6—4, C—4, o—2. NEW PLYMOUTH CLUB. Three interesting finals in the New Plymouth Club's competitions will be played to-morrow afternoon, weather permitting. J. C. Nicholson plays C. Webster In the final of the men's championship, and the imu'.ch will be decided on five sets. Miss Brewster meets Miss Rundle in the final of the ladles' championship in 4 match of three set;, and Miss Greatftatch plays Miss M. Thomson In the final of the ladles' handicap singles. If the courts are not in good condition to-morrow the matches will be postponed till Saturday.
