Herr Bauer declares that, owing to Hie housing difficulty in the Riihr < "disIrict, homes for 150,000 new men will be provided out of the profits of the, mines, meanwhile the miners have agreed to work one-sixth additional time. It is estimated the yearly increase in output will amount to 12 million tons. This is inadequate, therefore the agreement must be extended to Upper .Silesia, and the brown coal districts. Germany will thus be able to provide the railways, industry and agriculture with more'coal and comply more satisfactorily with her Treaty obligations. The Prussian Home Minister has ortiered the removal of all pictures of.the Hohenzollerns and the insignia of movj. archy from the Government buildings open to the public and suggests that municipalities should do likewise.
