FEDERAL POLITICS.
NEW SESSION THIS WEEK. By Telegraph.—Press Assn—Copyright. Received Feb. 23, 7.15 p.m. Melbourne, Feb. 23. The Federal session opens on Thursday. The Government policy embraces legislation dealing with a number of Empire problems, including the future of the League of Nations and the mandates for the administration of former enemy possessions.
It is anticipated there will be an early introduction of new customs and excise schedules.
The leadership of the Labor Party is expected io produce a trial of strength between the Tudorites and the Ryan-ites.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
