The White Shipping Company officials confidently expect their idle fleet to move on Wednesday, and they are making preparations to despatch vessels at an hour's notice. The Engineers' Institute says anything may haf pen. There is no certainty that the executive will accept the Controller's terms, but the executive feels sure the ships will not move by Wednesday. It believes the strike is scaring an end, but how near it cannot say. Melbourne, Feb. 23. The executive have granted a request of the Commonwealth. Line to carry food to Queensland.
