RAID OX POLICE BARRACKS. A SHARP FIGHT TAKES PLACE. By Talejraph.—Press Asan.—Copyrluht. Received Feb. 22, 11.5 p.m. London, Feb 10. Armed men attacked the police barracks at Castle Gregory, Kerry. The attackers and defenders used rifles, reI'olvcrs and grenades. The attackers blew up a portion of the barracks, demanding .surrender. The police refused and the fight was resumed. The attackers withdrew, leaving two riflea. One policeman was slightly .wounded, and it is believed three attackers were wounded. Prior to the attack all telephone and telegraph communication was cut. Police from the surrounding areas, hastening to raise the siege, found the roadu barricaded by felled trees, stones, and earthworks, and trenches were cut across the roads.— Cable Assn HOUSES IX DUBLIN RAWED. When the largest steamer ever built in Ireland was launched at Belfast the red ensign was suddenly hauled down and the Sinn Fein flag hoisted. AX AFFRAY IN DUBLIN. A POLICEMAN KILLED. Received Feb. 23, 12.20 a.m. Dublin, Feb. 20. A party of Sinn Feiners fired upon two policemen in Westmoreland street (it one o'clock in the mornim;. The police returned the fire, killing a civilian. In the event of Mr_ Thomas Kelly (Lord Mayor of Dublin'('not being allowed to quit England for the Mayoral installation at Dublin on Monday, probably the Corporation, headed by the outgoing Mayor, will come to London to instal ~Sh: Kelly.—Aus.-N.Z.
