The programme committee wili meet in a few days and arrange all details. PLANS FOR SCHOOL CHILDREN.In connection with the visit of the Prince .of Wales to the district, the Tnranaki Education Board has received the following telegram from the Edit* cation Department: "Arrangements should be made for the participation of school children in welcome to HU Roy*} Highness the Prince of Wales. Firtft railway passes will be provided fpr children of standard 4 to 7 and & teachers in charge travelling to various centres from places where they eon. conveniently return home the same day by any train specially provided. It is also proposed to provide a meal for children from a distance. The Government relies on the co-operation of the board, which must arrange for propfr care and supervision of children during the journey. The board should confer with the local railway department regarding train services." ;
