SUPREME COURT.
A CLAIM ABANDONED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Palmerston N., Feb. 19. In the Supreme Court a case was set down to-day in which Genevieve Anna Clarkson claimed from James Mitchell and Margaret Mitchell £ ;>fll damages for alleged slander. Plaintiff failed to appear and her counsel said that he had not heard from her and would have to submit to a non-suit. Defendants asked for costs on the highest scale and this was granted.
