In the House of Commons, Mr. Edward Shortt (Secretary for Home Affairs) announced a Bill dealing with the possession of firearms consequent on the recent increase of burglaries and violent crimes. PRISONER RELEASED. London, Feb. IC. Mr. Kelly, Lord Mayor of Dublin, lias been released from Wormwood Scrubs prison owing to bad health and taken to a private hospital.
