Sc-venty-two tens of sugar and 20 tons of cement were brought from Onehunga by the Rarawa yesterday morning. The vessel returned North last night after the arrival of the mail train. THE HCIA. Another shipment of benzine may probably aTrlvo from Wellington by the coastal steamer Hula this week, but the agents advise that the arrangement Is not yot definite. THE NGATORO. It Is expected that the Ngatoro will arrive] hero from Wanganui to-morrow. THE LUCY. The Lucy, which had been In port since January 31, sailed yesterday afternoon for j Papsete, where she loads'copra for San Francisco. THE GLATJCtJS. The Glaueus arrived in port yesterday morning from Surprlso Island, which she left on the 7th Inst., the voyage of 1360 miles taking 10 days to complete, but rough weather prolonged what would otherwise have been a 7 days' trip. The vessel brought 1550 Urns of guano consigned to Mr. W. D. Webster. Discharging operations will be commenced to-day at 8 ■a.m. From New Plymouth the Glaucus goes to Newcastle to load coal for Auckland. It will probably be 1 a week before the vessel leaves here. THE WAIMEA. Advice has been received that the Walmea may be expected hdre on .Friday with coal from Greymouth, if a quick dispatch can be made. THE MAPOURIKA. The Mapourika will leavo Wellington on Friday for New Plymouth. LORAIN FROM NEW YORK. Dalgety and Co., agents for the U.S. and A. Line, advise that the steamer Lorain is now being loaded by that line at New York for Auckland, Wellington, Wanganui, New Plymouth, Brisbane, Newcastle, and Sydney.
