DAIRY FACTORY MANAGERS.
MEETING OF TARANAKI EXECUTIVE'. A meeting of the Taranaki Provincial Executive was held at Kaponga on Saturday. Present; Mr. E. Reeve, president, in the chair; Messrs \Y. Hislop, L. Taylor, and C. F. Neilson, secretary. Apologies for absence were received from D. Hull and H. Crosbie. Correspondence war; read front Dairy Produce Grader re trophies for Taranaki winter show. The secretary's action in replving to same was confirmed. From the Dominion secretary re supply of rule books, also forwarding, copy of latter received from Taranaki Employers' t'nion re schedule. The secretary's action in drawing' a 'Taranaki dairy Company's atteutiiri I<> advertising for a manager under sche.luie rates was confirmed. The advisability rj. holding further grading conferences thin season was left in the hands of the secretary
Considerable discussion took place with regard to several Taranaki- dairy companies not adhering to schedule rates of salaries. It was decided to forward a list of these companies to the Dominion Executive.
