NEW BRITISH COINAGE. By Teletrnph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. London, Feb. 'la. The new alloyed shillings and sixpences are to be circulated in March. They will exactly resemble the old coins. The latter will be gradually withdrawn from circulation and returned to the mint for conversion. The Treasury has not decided on the question of nickel coinages, but states it is ready for its rapid issue if necessary.—Aus-N.Z Cable Assn.
