BRIGHT PROSPECTS. '-:' . The prospects for. this year's Egmont A. and P. Show, which opens at the Hawera Show Grounds tomorrow,, are Very bright, and. there is every ' indication that the event will be an unqualified success. The weather appears to be settled in fafo, and with the record entries in the cattle, Bheep, and pig classes, there should be much splendid stock tjo interest' the great crowd of people who are expected to visit the grounds to-morrow and Thursday. An interesting departure is being made by the secretary (Mr. C. R. Stannard), who states that catalogues on the second day will contain a'list of awards made on first day.of the show." The public will find it very, easy to follow the ring competitions, as the numbers of the various riders as well as the competing horse numbers are given in the catalogue.
