SPECIAL MEETING i A special uneetlne of the TaMnak! Land Board was, held on the 13th and 14th, Inst. Present': Messrs. G- H. Bullard (chairman), J. j Heslop, N. R. Cleland and I. W, H. Martin. The transfeir of section IT, Block 11., Huiroa, from F. J. Maekay to Jackson. Brothers was approved. The transfer of section 9, Block XI., Aria, from E. B. Hallen to B. C. Ivey was deferred. The undermentioned transfers were reported on to Wellington :—Section 9, Block VHI., Waro, G. Salt to P. Angell; section 17, Block XVI., Ohura, H. D. Roblnßon to W. Robinson; section 9, Block VI., Mapnra, D. Wallace to. D. Wallace and P. Hutchinson. . She lessee of section 40, Block VI, Nguere. is to be advised the lease of the section will be submitted to auction when tho present term expires. .It was proposed to Tecommend a postponement of rent to the lessee of section 10, Block 1, Tangltu. Mr. A. Good submitted valuation of sections 11 and 12, Block XXYn., Town of Patea, with accompanying awayd. Two mortgages over properties were approved. DISCHARGED SOLDIERS' TRANSACTIONS. Nine applications for rural lands were recommended for approval, 11 were refused, and 11 deferred. Fifteen applications for houses "were recommended, and six refused. Six applications for stock were recommended; three applications to transfer properties were recommended; and three applications for refund of valuation fees wore similarly treated. The supervisor of soldier settlements reported on Croydon settlement,' Its requirements and progress. '
