The Government has decided to establish local tribunals to investigate charges of profiteering under the Board of Trade Act passed by Parliament last year. Tribunal* of the kind proposed are alreadyjifi'Jporation in Britain, where they have MM able to assist the public to clear up many doubtful points. The names of the members of the local tor the cities would be anshortly, said Mr. Massey. Each trttfpil Would consist of three member*.' Any person considering himself or herself aggrieved by the price of any commodity «r article would be entitled U> place * complaint before a tribunal and produce evidence. The tribunal would .consider the case, examine the facts generally and decide whether or not a prima faele case of profiteering had been established. If it thought there was profit4eriaf, H would refer the case to the Ctywa Prosecutor.
