The Federal Cabinet has decided to call a Convention to examine the constitution and recommend to the people whatever amendments are found desirable HEALTH DEPARTMENT WANTED. Sydney, Feb. 14. A conference of the British Medical Association, refh-esenting four States, passed a resolution urging the Federal Government to create a Commonwealth Department of Health, to extend the scheme for the control of venereal disease, and subsidise State expenditure on infant welfare and maternity hospitals.
