The Parliamentary elections, when; the passions were inflamed over the consqhption campaign, resulted in the returld pjf 73 out of 105 Irish members. i; An analysis of the figures of the municipal elections shows that roughly} the votes were distributed as follows: £iihn Fein 32 per cent., Labor 22 per cent., Unionist 20 per cent., Nationalist 12, per cent., Independent 8 per cent., Municipal Reform 5 per cent. It is undoubted that there is a great amount of earnest determination and profound conviction behind Sinn Fein, but it is difficult to believe they ignore the valuable means for securing self-government which, ihe new measure provides. '
