DETAILS OP ITINERARY. STAFF APPOINTMENTS. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright, London, Feb. 13. The Prince will leave Portsmouth on March !) and arrive at Barbadoes on March 10. He will hold an official reception on the promenade deck, a portion of which has been specially prepared for the purpose. The party will spend a few hours ashnrc while the Renown is taking in fuel. The operation will occupy about six hours.
Thence the Prince will proceed to Colon, where America is preparing a welcome. No official visit will be made ashore, but a formal call will be made at Panama. Thence the vessel will sail to Honolulu and remain half a day for fuel- There will be an unofficial visit ashore. A call will be made at Fiji to fuel and then on to New Zealand. It is the desire of the Prince to reach Auckland on April 17-- This will necessitate cutting down the earlier programme to a minimum. The return journey by the Panama route will afford time to revisit Fiji and other British possessions in the Pacific. The Prince will make a fairly extensive tour in the West Indies.
The Prince of Wales has appointed his staff for the Australasian tour as follows: Chief of Staff, Admiral Halsey; secretary, Mr. Grigg; personal secretary, Sir Godfrey Thomas; extra equerry, Captain Dudley North; equerries, Captains Lord Claude Hamilton and the Hon. Piers Legh, son of Lord. Newton. Admiral Halsey'a Staff Secretary will be Lieut.-Commander Panion, and Flag Lieutenant Sub-Lieutenant Lord Mountbatten.
