Mr. Lloyd George, in the course of his speech in the House of Commons, said that Europe needed what Russia could give. He gave a summary of the prodigious Russian exports of staple requirements before the war. High prices ruled, even starvation and hunger ranged oyer Europe, while the corn-bins of Russia were bulging with bread, but it was necessary that transport must b? organised. This was not procurable while contending armies were traversing the European borders The Premier concluded gravely: '"The condition, in Europe are serious. The dangers are not all in Russia, they arc here nt home. I speak with knowledge, with apprehension. I warn the House there is only one way to fight the things that mnv happen: we must fight anarchy with abundance." (Loud cheers.)
