AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY.
MEETING OF GENERAL COMMITTEE. A meeting of the general committee ci the Taranaki A. and. P. Society was held on Saturday, there being present Messrs W. B. Grant (president), H. C. Sampson, B. Honeyfield, C. \V. Ruehc, ,T. A. Kurth, A. R. Gudopp, W. Hall, Z. T. Walker, and T. Dickson. It was agrsed to forward the lease of the Rewa Rewa rifle range proj-jrty to Wellington f r execution. It was also decide i tc protert again-t the introduction of poppy seeds from soldiers' gia 'M. It was decided to engage the Citizens' Band for the Autumn Show. The following new members were elected: Messrs Jas- McGregor (Hillsborough). W. ITawke (Waitara), A. AY. Gilford (Frankleigii Park), S. Mildred (Spotswood), and A- Vowlers (Franklei sh Park). It was decided to hold a meeting of stewards in the cattle and sheep classes, and nnv exhibitor or others interested in the conduct of the show, on Saturday, 21st. inst.. at 1 p.m. Written suggestions will be welcomed from others, or those unable to attend.
