CASTLES DISAPPEAR.

HOTELS FOR MILLIONAIRES. London, Jan. 12. A syndicate has been formed with the object of purchasing Warwick Castle, which it is intended to fit aB a hotel for American millionaires. The Warwick Castle ranks among the oldest mansions in England. The great Caesar's tower dates back almost to the Conquest. The splendid residential buildings are of the 15th century, and were later extensively restored. They contain many historical relics, paintings, and other works of art, among theiri being the large sculptured Warwick vase found in Hadrian's villa at Tivoli. The castle has machicolated towers and battlemented walls, the effect of which is much enhanced by their framing of splendid trees.
