BURNED TO DEATH.

A GIRL'S .SHOCKING DICATH, By Telegraplx.—Press Association. Dunedin, Last Night. A mysterious burning accident with fatal results, occurred at Kuriwao, Clinton, on Thursday, when Annie Mary Irwin, single, aged 30, was found dead at the residence of her uncle, Malcolm Patterson. ' The deceased was apparently in good health and spirits when .-her single aunt left in the morning to drive to Clinton. On the former returning four hours later she found the unfortunate girl lying under a willow tree with every stitch of clothing burned off, and in a shocking condition, only her boots remaining on the body. An inquest was held before the Coroner to-day. A verdict was returned the cause of death was shock as a result of .-burns, there being no evidence to show how or in what manner tde burns were caused.
