JN pursuance of "The Licensing Act, 1908," and its Amendments, I, James Jordan, Returning Officer for the Licensing District of Taranaki, do hereby give notice that by virtue of the provisions of the said Act an Election will be held for the return of Five Qualified Persons to serve as members of the Licensing Committee for the said District; and that the latest hour for receiving Nominations of Candidates will be Noon on SATURDAY, the 2Sth day of February, 1920, and that the Poll, if necessary, will be taken at the several Polling-places of the said District on the flth day of March, 1920. Every person desirous of becoming a Candidate must be nominated by not less that Two Electors of the District, by a Nomination Paper delivered to the Returning Officer on or before the hour of noon on the 28th day of February. 1920.
