(From a Correspondent). The Tangilu Axemen's .Sports were held mi January 23rd, and, although Iho weather was very unfavorable, the meeting proved a great success. A beautiful fold medal, given as a points prize by Mr. W. A. Hewitt (manager of the N.Z. Loan and. Mercantile Agency, Stratford)., (was won iby ®. Tutu. Children's competitions were held (liroughout, the day, being very ably conducted hy Mrs. <j. Jensen. In the evening a very enjoyable dance was held in the Mntnu School, dancingbeing continued until the early hoars of the morning. Mr. C. IT. Lnrsen carried out the duties of secretary most efficiently.
