The Prince of Wales' naval stiff Will consist of Rear-Admiral Sir Lionel Tf*h sey, Captain Dudley North (forswrl* Commander of H.M.S. Australia), and Flag-Lieutenapt Lord Louis Mountbat* ten. Otlior members of the staff have not yet been appointed, but will probably inelude Colonel E. W. M. Grigg. Only minor changes are being made in H.M.S. R*. nown's personnel. Lieutenants will include Lieuts. Billyard and Leake.—Aus.N.Z. Cable Assn.
Rear-Admiral Sir Lionel Halsey, Cap» tain E. W. M. Grigg, and Commander Dudley North, who rema'n on the Prince of Wales' staff, travelled with the Prince to Canada and America.
Sir Lionel Halsey is well-known in New Zealand, having commanded H.M.S. New Zealand during her world tour. Since then he has had a distingu&hed career at the Admiralty. Captain Grigg was formerly the Dominions editor of The Times. He visited the Commonwealth and wrote a brilliant series of articles, and became editor of the Round Table. He was General Bta,lt Officer to the Guards Division during the war, and is the Prince's political adviser, He is reputed to be largely responsible for the Prince's outstanding statements interpreting the Dominions' nationalism.
Commander Dudley North served on the battle-cruiser New Zealand, and wa« Admiral Hnlsey's favorite staff officer.
