CONVENT QUEEN CARNIVAL.
VOTING UP TO LAST NIGHT. The results of the Queen Carnival contest, held in connection with the Catholic Bazaar, were announced at 9 o'clock last evening. The state of the voting was as follows: Convent Candidate (Miss Fleming) 8470 Farmers' Candidate (Miss'Cudby) 0380 Sports Candidate - (Miss Scully) .. 6000 Hibernian Candidate (Miss Whittle) 3960 Maori Candidate. (Miss Skipper) .. 2735 Labor Candidate (Miss Tuohy) ~ 10S0 The results will be announced each evening at nine o'clock.
