PALMERSTON TOURNAMENT. | v By Telegraph,—Press Association. Paknerston N.» Feb. 2. At the croquet tournament Mr. A. G. P- Ross,ChrUtchurch, won the open Singles North Island championship. The runners-up were Di. Whittaker (Manawatu) And S. M'Cullough (Chrlstehureh). C. A. Watktns (Hastings} 1 won the handicap singles. The runners-up were Miss Clarke (Onehunga) and Mrs. Glass (Dannerirke). The handicap doubles were won ! by Mrs. Richardson and S. M'Cullough (Christchurch). The runners-up were C. A. Watkina (Hastings) and Mrs. Bailey (Wellington). The open double winners were Ross and Mrs. Murray Anysley (Chriatchurch). P&lmerston North, Last Night. At the Manawatu croQuet tournament the ladles* championship singles resulted: Mra Brabant beat Mrs Mcßae, 26—21; Mrs Mora® beat Mtb Glass, 20—23; and Mrs Richardson beat Mrs Mcßae, 26—19. Mrs Brabant (Napier) and Mrs Richardson (Christchurch) play off for the final to-morrow.
