SUPREME COURT.

WELLINGTON SITTINGS. By Telegraph. —Press Association. Wellington, Feb. 2. The criminal session of the Supreme Court opened to-day before Mr. Justice Cooper. His Honor, in hie charge to the Grand Jury, said he regrettedi there was a considerable list of charges, some of which were of a serious character. He especially referred to the charge of manslaughter against taxi drivers, pointing out that the law required the exercise of reasonable prudence and diligence on the part of motor vehicle driven, and it was for the jury to say whttler it wae exercised.
