"THE YEAR OF STRIKES."

— — I AUSTRALIAN WORKERS' VIEWS. j By Telegraph —Press Assn.—Copyright. Sydney, Jan. 30. The annual report of the Labor Council says: "The year can be called the year of strikes. Spasmodic strikes are occurring day by day. Strikes are an obsolete weapon; it seems like using an old blunderbuss against the up-to-date machine gun of the capitalists." The report concludes by the statement that the only way to secure better conditions is by the linking up of all the (vorkers engaged in the same industry.
